We ran into the same thing I believe. Avionics shop said it wouldn't work. Config is KAP140, 530w, G5 HSI. GPS and ILS worked but the autopilot would not track a VOR. I kept pushing the shop to figure it out, called Garmin myself, etc. If I remember right they had to change the config from SDI1...

Thank you for the input. I’m not sure what they did I guess. We had a KLN 94 and dual KX155A’s before with the Ki-209 and a DG. They test flew it Friday based on my FlightAware alerts, but I didn’t hear how it went. Hopefully all goes well. I’m not going to give up until I have a clear answer.
