Would a KAP 150 removed from a Mooney work on my Cessna 206 for spare parts?. Gotta troubleshoot mine and this seems cost-effective, unless they're somewhat different systems.

Where do you install them and how do you operate them?. Would be valuable to install it aft of the pilot so it captures the panel and procedures, but there is seldom a power outlet in that position. Thinking about attaching a power bank with velcro or something like that nearby.
