    My new plane.

    I saw this in a hangar somewhere and thought it would be fun, so I bought it. I never flew a T-craft before and this one only has a single seat. When asked who taught me to fly it, I pointed to my biplane. and said "she taught me".

    Today is my airplane's 77th birthday!

    December 4, 1941 and she went right to work teaching kids in the Civilian Pilot Training Program in Kansas. She is still teaching and I am her #1 student.

    Cockpit tour

    My airplane’s cockpit is very comfortable, offers some great views and the controls and instruments are easy to access/read. It has everything I need. I don’t have to think about upgrades!

    Transponder code with an 8 or 9

    I just learned that the numbers 8 and 9 are not used in squak codes. My transponder won’t register those anyway. I post this just in case some other readers don’t know this. I was ready to have my Garmin checked.
