    Lost a Friend Yesterday...

Heard on the news last night about an ultralight crash in Oregon with two fatalities. Really shocked when one of the name was that of one of my partners in the 182. Keith and I had gotten into the partnership about the same time a couple years ago after toying with the idea of buying a plane and...

    Check-ride is scheduled

Rudy, Sure, we all say to relax and that is important. One thing to think about is something I noticed during my ride. I was naturally nervous before but as soon as the plane left the ground I was busy flying the plane and having fun so the nervousness went away. Have a fun flight with...

Seems like every time I got serious about the IFR something came up like my wife leaving then...

What's the OLDEST plane you've flown?

Thought the oldest was the one I'm a partner in now - 1956 C182. But then remembered flying a '53 Tri-Pacer a few years ago in Texas. Mark N5641B

    Flightseeing in Vancouver/Victoria area

I travel a lot with my job and try to fly in different areas with CFIs. Don't really have the need to get checked out. So far I've had the opportunity to fly in IA, MO, NM, UT, OR, HI and AK. You can probably guess which two habe been my favorites. Mark
