some of you might remember me posting about my new( to me) saratoga. well, about a week ago that bird bit me hard. a pilot rated passenger and I embarked on a short 15 min flight to look at another airplane. I have about 110 hrs tt and he has 400tt. about 11and 30 in type respectively...

have any of you guys bought an airplane, got checked out in it, and first solo out said woah?!?! what am I doing? I did, flew a 2.7 hr cross country, with one stop, and called the CFI. we have a flight scheduled for Wednesday.

well, I just got the new bird home. I have 6.8 hours in it, and love it. hope to finish the checkout this weekend, and have some fun flying to all the exotic destinations!!

today was my first flight in something that flies faster than 100 mph! Comanche 250, that thing is fun and fast! should have the checkout done sometime next week, but I might extend it just to fly more!:goofy:
