Just heard a Lear ran off the runway at KMMU and that the airport is closed.
 
That'll buff right out. A little speed tape and they're good.

This is at my home ‘drome, but I’m not around this weekend; haven’t heard anything from the locals.

Looks like it was landing 23 and departed the pavement very soon after touchdown.

I wonder if it had something to do with the nosewheel steering? Lots of 40s/45s been having weird NWS issues lately.
 
Maybe the Jimmy’s World guy will buy it and try to fix it up.

I guess they didn't use enough rubber bands...

reminds me of a guy who used to fly RC at a field I frequented. He never cleaned his models, or took the wings off. As a result the rubber bands (good old #64’s) would start randomly breaking and flying off. He’d be taxiing out and there’d be rubber bands randomly shooting off his planes, lol. His solution was just to keep adding more in a constant loss scenario.
