You know that's a good question. When I got my medical, I was not tested. No pee pee no blood. However a buddy of mine was asked to provide a urine sample. I wonder if he looked like a dope head to the Doc. ? Has anyone else been asked to provide urine ?

If your looking to pass the PPL test, Gleim is the one I used. After going thru the book, I took an overdose of practice tests. I did it until I would ace them. When I took the written I missed two questions. I still keep those books handy just to freshen up.

I made one from an old Igloo cooler. Bought two 12v fans and bilge pump. Bought an oil cooler for a Mack truck. I run the cold water thru the oil cooler and have the fans directly behind it. Keep the cabin nice even in 90+ degree. Spent about $60.

Well we made it. I was able to stay away from the storms no problem. Flight flowing was very helpful. Now I'm waiting for Mamma to wake up and get ready for the return trip. Weather looks good right now for an 8 am departure back home. The bird flew great. Not a bit of trouble.
