    Garmin 480??

Thanks for all the great info. So do I need to MFD if I want to get weather and traffic? Im thinking if I put the 480 and an mfd, I can sell the 696. As I won't really need it if I'm getting weather and traffic thru an ads-b on the mfd. or can the ads-b be tied to the 480? Thanks

    Crazy airplane tug idea

I made one out of a self propelled snowblower, so now it serves dual purpose. I picked up the snowblower on craigs list for $50 and spent about $60 on parts and about 3 hours labor.

    Totally aviation-related question!!

We did this to a friend one time and it was a great time, until he dropped it on his own foot and smashed his toes. We just had him do some shots till the pain subsided.

    flying into Myrtle beach KMYR

I only accept the GPS direct if it is VFR conditions. I like to be on an IFR Flt plan for longer trips, for radar coverage and incase weather gets funky. Thanks

I have the 696 and like it alot the big screen is great and with no glare. and it's easy to navigate thru the functions with the "real" buttons and knobs in bouncey weather. I have it mounted with the RAM yoke mount on the pass side. I feel a little too big to mount on the left yoke and blocks...

    Full-size crossover PIREPs?

We have a 2005 Volvo xc90 with the v8 and it's been a great car has over 150,000 and still feels solid (ppl can't believe it's a 2005 when they ride in it) gets about 18mpg in the city. and also has 3rd row seating if that's a needed option. and it runs on regular gas.
