Took the Lance to P-Factor Aviation at KCKZ Pennridge, Perkasie Pa. today for the Inspection. She passed with flying colors! I must add, the guys at P-Factor are some of the best guys you will every meet! very knowledgable and great to do business with! 2 Thumbs up!
Thank you, that’s what I was thinking as well.
5,314 is hours on airframe (not factored service hours)
One more question, can any IA do the inspection?
I’m missing the first 10 years of log books to my 79 Piper Lance.
I have 32 years of annual inspections and 5314 TIS hours.
Because of the missing logs, will I have to comply with the inspection?
I give up! I have looked everywhere I can think of. Anyone know where I can find one of these battery’s 3 volt VARTA MC621
Replacing the internal battery on my Garmin 396.
I used this switch to turn on my heaters for the plane for several years. Worked great. Does require a cell SIM card. Instructions and external antenna include.
If you can use it, make me a reasonable offer and cover the shipping.
Agree with your assessment... I wish I had a better understanding of the standby vacuum system. Immediate activation of standby system and reducing power should have given me a partial reading on the vacuum gauge and if so, and in IMC, land immediately..
