No I have not done the written yet, but have been spending an hour or two every evening preparing, so I plan to get it knocked out in the next few weeks.

I went through something similar doing my IFR, as the training wore on I started to dread the lessons beforehand. By the time the instructor and I were in the air, I was fine and enjoying myself. Not sure why that was, I would guess just fatigue with being instructed and wanting to do my own...

Does anyone have an opinion on which iPad to get for using ForeFlight in the cockpit? I have been using an iPad mini for a while but considering upgrading to a full size iPad. Any thoughts?
