    Fast Luxury Sedan - $10k

Yea unfortunately most of this runs on the BCM and not the PCM and that's proprietary. You can read simple check engine codes with a reader, might as well go with the cheap one for that.

    Fast Luxury Sedan - $10k

I think that's the simple reset. Get friendly with a Benz service shop or dealer, quick fix. Probably a cracked manifold, the heat is pretty intense.

    Fast Luxury Sedan - $10k

No common MAF issues that I'm aware of. Rough idle could be plugs/wires (there are 16!). Also cleaning the throttlebodies (there are two) can help. Mine tends to have a slight wavering idle when cold but I wouldn't call it rough per se. Ahh the Brake code...I forgot about that. Do the...

    Fast Luxury Sedan - $10k

I've had an '05 for quite a while as my daily commuter. I enjoy this car as much or more than any other car I've had, and prefer it over my 911. I'm at the point now where I've been eyeing a Cayenne Turbo, but I just love this car. It's getting up there in age and has ~138k miles on it now...

    Possible runways...

Bing has low pass flyover that you can zoom down to about 150'. Google isn't quite there yet.

    Possible runways...

Definitely a runway. You can see the marker lights and the thresholds in the flyover on Bing. http://binged.it/1k7g9ll

    Intestinal emergencies

I may have to start doing, genious!! I've been there, stop and throw them overboard. It's the best cure for motion sickness and lets them flow without making a big mess.

    Intestinal emergencies

Amazon has them in packs of 10 for around $20. Hardly expensive insurance!

    Intestinal emergencies

My son had the stomach flu this past week and managed to puke all over my car, however, after taking him to the ER I learned about these. I will be ordering a set for the plane and car. They are expanable, easy to seal and are relatively cheap. Cheap insurance I think.

You are flying along and your airspeed indicator fails

My first <2000' runway was just a few weeks ago and that was one time I did check my airspeed and altitude a lot but once on short final it was all eyes out the window and I have to say despite the pucker factor it was a spot on landing. I did see how easily I could have come in hot and just...

You are flying along and your airspeed indicator fails

I hope to do my IFR training with him, he was really very good. Old retired Navy pilot that really enjoyed flying/instructing into retirement. I wish everyone is lucky enough to fly with someone who really lives and breathes the craft, you learn an immense amount.

You are flying along and your airspeed indicator fails

My instructor used to block out the guages frequently. He would always say the most important gauge is your eyes looking out the window, the rest is for quick verification. Once you know the plane you should be able to see, feel and hear the pattern requirements.

    Great trip to Marathon Key

Awesome! We are planning a similar long weekend down later this year. I went and checked out the FBO when I was there in April by car.
