I saw a bumper sticker on a car today (wish I could have grabbed a photo) that that read:
THE HIGHER THE ALTITUDE
THE BETTER THE ATTITUDE
But it kind of made me stop and think- "The higher the altitude, the better the attitude, and the worse the decision making".
I didn't get outside to watch today, but came across this youtube video that was pretty nice (and included cockpit audio):
Interesting there were 7 flying today- never seen that- anyone know why?
Also interesting at around 7:18 looks like some poor guy busted the TFR....
I was IFR (in VMC) once on a westerly heading at 6000 ft. When two Yaks in a side-by-side formation appeared in my windscreen in the exact opposite direction, at the exact same altitude. I continued on my heading and they passed me- one on my left and the other on my right- bot easily within 200...
I was on the Pro subscription at $150/yr for 14-15 years and just this year they forced me onto the Pro Plus plan for $240/yr if I wanted yo keep georeferenced plates. Is there still a $150 Pro one?
That was one my kid's cookies- I kind of though the same thing! When I asked she said it was a 'gingerbread cookie'. They all tasted like sugar cookies to me...
As schmookeeg mentioned the FAA official format is:
- One to five digits (N12345)
- One to four digits followed by one letter (N1234Z)
- One to three digits followed by two letters (N123AZ)
Cannot have zero as first digit
Cannot have letters I or O
So I think it would be: 99999 + (9999 * 24)...
