I use it every day and sometimes several times a day . As I shop for my next airplane , I look at how far away the Airport is that a plane is based . For local flying I get AWOS phone numbers and write down Freq , Runways and Elevations . Verrrry handy source .

LOL .... a lot of Cessna 120s have been upgraded with full electrical system ( starters/alternators ) AND Radios ( NAV/COM in mine ) . Owning your own plane is really a Plus . I would try to get in one of those grass airstrips , easier on tires and brakes , Plus a lot of interesting people hang...

Yessss , my Clevelands are NICE ! I can get on them when wanting to stop short ..... good feel and control .

I think the Safety Pilot can log the Time also , just not IFR .

Mine ( 1947 120 ) came with them ON , I was having trouble staying straight . Took them Off and THAT DAY it all came together for me ... coincidence ?? Not sure , but they will NOT go back on ! They make nice paper weights .

10-4 to that Jack ... took me awhile to catch on to landing the Cessna Spring Gear .. or Catch Up I should say !
