Saw that this morning. It was right on the same page as "Clay Aiken outs himself", "Lindsey Lohan dating a woman", "pig holds woman hostage in her house", and "Tot mom blamed stench on dead squirrel".

I think PETA has jumped the cow on that one.
 
They jumped something. Then again, they've never been on a reality track.
 
you'd think that if you're trying to get people to agree with you, you'd want to seem somewhat reasonable and logical.

although i could definitely see lots of impoverished nations being large exporters of human milk if they were adequately compensated.
 
Why you saying that PETA went over the bend? They didn't come up with this, some Swiss restauranteur did. You give PETA far to much credit. Thing about human breast milk is you have to control the feed stock of your milkers to control the flavor of the milk. Personally, I don't mind the idea of the milk, though I prefer it from the tap. It will also address the lactose issue.

The jokes on them. A number of biotech companies are trying to engineer cows to produce human milk.

By bashing any national organization the poster is effectively bashing the belief system of someone here and, yes, that makes it political.

But don't confuse my objection as support of PETA, I'm no fan of PETA fan either. I just think this is spin zone material.

Oh you mean that FAA/NATCA/Airline/EAA/AOPA/Angel Flight bashing is ok, but other organizations are protected? Practically any point of view has a national organization behind it.

I think Spin Zone should be reserved for political discussions where people are likely to get righteous and harsh with each other. This thread doesn't rise to that level in my mind.

I'm just trying to think of the cool ice cream names!

Actually, I think a belief system is more in the realm of religion than politics, but to some I guess there's little difference. Hmmm... High wing or low-wing?:hairraise:

It'd probably be easier to figure out a way to make the ice cream without milk at all then it would be to figure out how to mass-produce it with human milk. PETA isn't this stupid--they knew what the reaction to this would be. There is another goal--probably just trying to get publicity.

PETA is a bunch of dangerous terrorist jackasses. Yeah, I said it, and I mean it. Wait 'til they, and their cowardly terrorist friends the Animal Liberation Front decide they don't like your father or mother for what they do. A-Holes, each and EVERY one.

X2. I hate B&J ice cream, but I won't buy it for other reasons that only can be discussed in SZ.
