Hello All,
I am looking for a good spreadsheet of some kind to track all my expenses and hours etc.
Does anyone have one that they would be willing to share?
Open to suggestions.
Thank you very much,
D.

For most of us, flying is a hobby we love. I have an idea how much I spend but I really do not want to know.:)

I brutally track expenses in my life, except for flying. Everywhere else I enjoy the efficiency and optimization of it. If I did the same thing for flying it would probably just make me sad.

Do you have a spreadsheet to track what your children cost? Your spouse? If so, just use the same one. If not, why would you want to have one for your airplane?

There are some things it's better not to know....

I will say the one thing I do track is capital improvements to the plane. When it comes time to sell having that for tax purposes will be useful.

@Fatherof2 I don't want to take away from all the great advice given but, I do have a spreadsheet that tracks Time/Life of parts. If you add a column with prices well, that's you decision.

This spreadsheet format is www.libreoffice.org/ . LibreOffice is a well maintained Office Suite and I've been using for several years. This forum software does not allow .ods format sharing so look at the .pdf and if you think it will work I'll have to e-mail the .ods.

This too! Having a sheet with part lifetimes is also useful for sharing with mechanics and double checking their findings. I've had maintenance recommended due to the IA missing a replacement logbook entry; much easier to fixup if you have summary sheets.
