Touchdown! Greaser!
VASaviation has another one, from Republic in NY. That won't buff out, sounds like no really serious injuries. Not sure what happened, I wonder if they went missed too late and hit the ground.
According to one of my coworkers, one of the pilots has some broken vertebrae.
Don’t know that he had that part of the discussion, but more than likely the pilots will (rightly so) not discuss specifics outside of the official investigation for a while.Damn, I hope he recovers quickly. Any idea what happened?

But if the gear was down and then collapsed, something really bad must’ve happened...that airplane is a brick ****house.
Approach they were on requires 3/4 vis.
Before they landed tower reported 1/4 mile vis in fog and 200’ vertical vis.
We were landing at JFK when this happened. You can hear JetCard 127 be sent around by NY approach here:

Go around is at 6:25. ATC mentions the accident at 8:23 and asks about an alternate. JetCard pilot kinda sounds like an ass IMO.
