Always 3-in-1 "Dudewash". Easy to pack, works on everything. You're bringing shampoo anyway.

Its funny to get wrapped around the axle on which soap one uses when the real issue is what you wash last on one shower and what you wash first on the next. ;)

Gives new meaning to the term "arseface" doesn't it?

Bar soap for me...if it is my shower.

I feel like I use and waste way more product using body wash than bar soap.

I'm an Irish Spring fiji body wash person. After I've lathered myself up with a bar of soap. Of course, I'm covered in grass at the end of every day so the soap is for cleaning and the body wash is so I smell good for the mrs.

Ditch the soap and body wash... Just spray yourself with Axe body spray. I've seen the ads... Chicks dig it!

I actually don't know how to vote as I don't know if liquid soap counts as body wash or not.

What forum did I just stumble into?!?!?! The correct answer is.... WHO CARES?!?!?!? Now... I'm stuck with the visual of a bunch of you guys loofahing things that I never want to see or imagine. shhhhuuuudddddeerrrrrrr......

I use 120 grit. After a long day in the garage, hangar, or "back forty," I use 80 grit, then 91% iso to tighten up and disinfect whatever scratches are left behind.

In all serious, bar soap, as unscented as possible. I have a very stiff-bristled shower brush with a detachable head; I can scrub the crap out of any area that desperately needs it, and it leaves that area KNOWING it's been scrubbed, baby. Feels great. Finish off the shower by turning off the hot water completely and standing under the pure cold water for at least 30 seconds. THAT'S a shower. My wife doesn't join me near as much as she used to... that's the only downside.

I hate body wash in the shower. It feels sissy and most of it gets wasted.
Yes! I feel like I use far too much of it and it leaves a weird residue and either have to use one of those loofah things  or my hands, but never seem to get as clean with my hands

My go-to is the basic Irish spring, a proper man's soap

for the bar soap users, do you guys lather it and then use your hands, or do you physically rub the bar all over your body?

Shampoo is soap. Just sayin...

ff to 14 seconds in

M'lady cleans our shower from the inside, nude. Apparently, bar soap makes cleaning a more frequent occurrence. So she decided we should switch to body wash.

I agreed.

I am an idiot.
When I was in Navy bootcamp, there was a reason we used a certain brand. It leaves no soap scum. Can't remember the brand.

I own a soap startup so I use my own product.

Showering is like a Star Trek episode.

You need something a little more solid than body wash to get rid of those Klingons...

The thread title is missing a comma... "Bar, soap, or bodywash." I'll skip the shower and go straight to the bar.

You get a pass Mr. Backwoods Alaska. LOL

Of all the time I spent in Alaska I only spent two summers in a place without running water.

No electricity and using an outhouse was not a problem, but no water makes life a little harder.

I wasted 2 minutes of my life reading about what a bunch of guys I don’t know like to do in the shower. I immediately regret reading this thread.
If you really regretted it, why didn’t you press the back button before you were 2 min in?

The cheapest least fruity smelling shampoo in the overly complicated shampoo aisle. I've tried some of the "for men" products and for some reason they have more perfume in them than the air in a Bangkok brothel(at least I assume, I've never been to Bangkok but you get the idea). That's not what I would want or expect in a for men product. I'd expect an all-purpose soap that gets you clean and is cheap.

Ahh and for some days after wrestling with stuff underneath cars we change it up and it's full body fast orange...

Isn't that stuff a little abrasive for certain parts of the body?
