Estimated 7 people. Need to leave next Friday (the 18th) and return on Sunday (the 20th). Anyone know of an operation able to do this?

If you have a toy monkey your odds increase of this trip happening.

LOL First time poster soliciting an airplane, classic. :D

Well, there are people here like Mari and Cameron who do this for a living and I thought they may offer some suggestions

Ooohhh.... maybe I'm not a first time poster.

??? Why create a new user account, then?

Try contacting the FBO at EDC and seeing what they can offer. Alternatively, reach out to the ones at KRBD, KDTO, and KADS.

http://www.business-air.com/charter-flights/ provides a spot on the page to get a quote for the flight.

Because I quit the forum a while back due to pretty much the same nonsense that's in this thread. First post was snide, then there was the jabs and piling on by others.

I came here to help a friend out who just had a family member pass in Colorado Springs. Yes Google was used and it took 5 seconds, not 10. If I wanted Google results and not PIRPEPS from folks in the biz, I would have googled harder.

P.S. Don't bother with any more replies, I won't be back to read them.

Mods, please delete this account too.

You should have explained more in the OP, bye.:D

Last time I checked a private jet from Houston to San Fran round trip it was going to be like $50,000.00 or more. :hairraise:

So long, knucklehead!

Give me a MC/VISA/AMEX number, and a time and place to pick you up, and I'll have someone waiting for you. Any preferences in equipment or catering? Would you like a Chef? I have a really good portable sushi guy.

For the benefit of the next person who contemplates a similar question, please bear in mind this is a GA forum, where many of us drive 90's model cars so we can fly 70's model airplanes. You will find relatively few people here that charter ten place jets on a whim. You might get a better response from a post on http://www.livesoftherichandfameous.com

Boo hoo those mean people hurt my feelings.

Why have people become so sensitive? I don't think there's anything that anybody on an anonymous message board can say to me to make me leave if I like reading and posting there.

It must really suck to be a non-portable sushi guy. :wink2:

:D This guy has this really cool lap board that he made so he can do fresh service in cabin rather than catered boxes, plus he does a nice show spiel with it, and the fish and supplies he always has are the best available.

I don't remember Killeen, Texas being a great place for sushi.

GI bars now....

We did have a portable sushi guy come do a company Christmas dinner once (roughly 20 people) but we were disappointed. The restaurant sent two guys, but all the sushi was already made, so all these guys did was watch the game, drink beer, and hand out rolls.

In Killeen, TX?

Catfish?
Krab?

:rofl::rofl: No, he's local here in the winter and on Cotê Azure in the summer, but he travels globally for the charter market. His fish is flown in live to meet orders.

Maybe not Killeen, but there are a couple of sushi bars in Waco.

And a "Texas Bistro." Really. One would think $35 steaks would go over like a lead balloon there, but it seems to do OK.

Dude, if it costs more, it has to be better.

This guy is the other end of the scale, but you pay $800 for him to show up, and the bill adds from there. Dude is pretty busy.

A good $35 steak is worth it. A crappy steak for $35 will get somebody stabbed. Even around here, some slices of beef are worth some serious cash.

It was VERY good. I was just surprised at seeing prices triple the normal local rate.

And anything that presents itself as a "bistro" in that part of Texas.

Was it full of hipsters? Even backwoods hipsters exist now... and that sounds like something that'd cater to them. Waco has become more like a medium city the last time I was there, though.

Keiichi in Denton, TX

Not much to look at on the outside, but inside is very nice, and the food is some of the best ever. Well worth the menu price.
