Will anyone ever eat Wheaties again?

And the media love it !!!!

All I have heard today is Caitlyn, Caitlyn, Caitlyn.... only after he loses the family jewels can it be called Caitlyn.

Meh. If someone goes to the extreme of going under the knife, especially someone who is mature in years as Jenner is, then what right do I have to question their decision or the validity of their condition?

I hope she is happy with her new life.

Just natural for them, and natural for everyone else to be repulsed by them. The learned denial of natural repulsion is what you need to watch out for.

There was an old Clairol ad that went something like, "If I have but one life, let me live it as a blonde".

Jenner has one life. Let him live it in any way that pleases him.

Too many judgmental jerks for my taste.

Don't worry. The progressive police will be along shortly to command acceptance and enthusiastic endorsement, under penalty of being sued out of your last cent.

No no you misunderstood, I respect everyone's diversity, to the extent required by law.:D

I count my blessings that I have never been confused or in doubt about my gender, I can only imagine the hell such people endure.

Live and let live. We of all groups ought to know what it's like to be in the minority. I know I got my wings in spite of a long line of naysayers. And except for a few days at Oshkosh every year, most people around me have no concept of my obsession flight and no way to understand. But I'm glad to live where I'm free to be me. And so I wouldn't wish any less for Jenner.

I think she is still packin'...

Yup...

"Live and let live"?

How about, live and let live without being on TV and magazines capitalizing on your former success and the fans of "reality TV"?

I suspect for the right price and a two year reality show run Jenner will revert to being Bruce again. Sad case really.

I can't imagine living more than 60 years of my life as someone else. It takes courage and resources to live your truth and our 1976 Decathlon hero has both.

It's odd to me that so many people find it hard to believe that a person can be born with "wires crossed". The problem is, the LGBT community takes issue with being defined as a birth defect.

LGBT people are just that...people. There's nothing wrong with them and contrary to popular culture trends, there's nothing special about them either.

There is definitely something wrong with trans people. It is a defect. That's not to say that I think that they don't deserve compassion and respect.

Conflicted.

On one hand, live and let live.

On the other, that guy is an effin' freak and one hell of a media whore.

:vomit:

Guy can't help much being a celebrity given that his name is a household word. Yeah, live and let live. I don't like it, but nobody asked me.

Don't believe the happy club PR. There is something very wrong with them. It ain't simply a case of the hot and cold lines going to the wrong faucets. These people are deeply deranged. Plenty of science out there, but gawking at tranny pics is easier than reading.

Yeah, then someone will come along and make the point that there used to be "something wrong" with left handed people...

If you're getting barraged by the news of this and are growing weary of it then maybe you need to "up the class" of the media outlets that you listen to and watch. Sounds like they cater to the least common denominator.

I've heard nary a peep from mine.

And I appreciate it.

Just sayin...

Haha guess I have optimal sources poa is the only place I've seen this story. Online or otherwise. All news is trash, clear your minds people.

FTFY

(Not referring to the topic of this thread with that correction)

That's a sinister thing to say!

I see what you did there.....

BTW, there is something wrong with lefties. I should know, been one since birth.

As far as the he/she goes, I don't really care about the gender bending, but it strikes me that he/she did it because of the media attention, and that is about the saddest thing I can think of. How empty does a life have to be that one would go to this length to be validated?

I think what's deceptively made out to be "special" is the courage it actually takes. We all know the more resources you have the less "courageous" you have to be. It's like when a Wall Street guy leaves his $20 million a year hedge fund to run a soup kitchen. He might be doing something very benevolent, but there's nothing "courageous" about living off the proceeds of a fortune.

Well to each their own and live and let live. But if it was anyone other than Bruce Jenner the world would give less than a damn. I wish her the best.

The world knows too much about this clan. The whole Jenner/Kardashian TV saga is way, way too much information for my delicate ears.
