Seeking flight friends

You, like myself probably ask and answered peoples questions and put some info in your profile so that we knew you were for real.

I did, but I have very little in my profile. I still made some friends on here but at the time I just wanted to talk to someone who was a pilot because I didn't know anyone.

I don't think I would've offered half of the fuel costs though because at the end of the day. The pilot is doing YOU a favor. If Ramp asks enough people he might just get what he wants.

Aunt Peggy Madam you request me to pay your overhaul?

No, sir.

But that does bring up a few questions. Why are you wanting to come to the US? Why are you wanting to fly 1000 hours? Why are you asking us about having flight friends? Have you considered using a flight school? There are many that would be happy to rent to you, assuming you have no problems with Homeland Security or Immigration.

Good point on flight school, Peggy.

Here at DTO, we have a school, US Aviation Academy, that specializes in training foreign nationals for professional pilot careers. And like many schools, they encourage the senior students to obtain their instructor ratings and stay on to teach the new class.

Ramp, besides touring the US and meeting new people, what is your objective for this trip?

Welcome to POA, but my jury is still out on the validity of this entire thread ...

You're going to have to prove yourself up a little more Ramp person.

Maybe you're English is not so good, but pilots know other pilots when pilots speak. So far, you haven't walked the walk, or talked the talk imo. :nono:

My intention presently is to visit all locations as required to achieve 1000 hours or more. I will act as safety pilot while you fly. Thank you for your kind attention. Single engine small plane of any kind is satisfactory.

For those that take him up, get good at punching in squawk code 7500. Ensure you have a hidden passenger door/seatbelt release mechanism, leather seats with lots of armor all and practice uncoordinated steep turns.

I see today is September 11. A very bad day in history so I will understand this crazy talk of all of you. My intention is to fly for hours. This is all. I was mentioned america is a place of freedom a place to be welcomed and accepted.

Tax flyer you say you know other pilots. I am pilot. I fly Cessna 172.

You might be better off just buying block time (several hundred hours at a time) in an LSA and do the flying by yourself. You can get one with a Rotax engine that burns 3.5 gallons an hour (1/2 of what a 172 burns) and fly to your hearts content.

Jim

I can't wait for the moderators to run the IP address and see what comes up.

My thoughts exactly. I have heard of pilots coming from other countries to build hours but they have always been involved with flight schools or a small cargo flying operation...not just randomly posting on websites trying to cop a ride.

Ramp - I'll admit that to me, your first post looks very much like a troll - posted by someone under a pseudonym intended only to stir up controversy, but I was willing to see how things played out before judging it.

Now that it's run a few days - you still have not answered any of the legitimate questions people here have asked you, specifically with the intent to help you. If you really are legitimate, perhaps you can fill in those details?

:yeahthat:

Ramp; something else you haven't mentioned in your original post was

1) how long you plan to be here?
2) Where are you staying?
3) Are you staying close to that spot? Or are you planning to move from place to place?
4) Other than flying, what is the reason to be here (work? school? goes to what form of entry visa)

And I agree with Peggy about us fronting the costs associated with this endeavor.

one year phoenix yes yes tourist

To answer your question I'm getting tired of waiting. What is wrong with all of you? Why are you so rude to me? You may all go to hell.

Some people here are rude because they feel you are not being totally honest.

People in the USA are generally very friendly and helpful. You need to help us first before we decide who you are and what your interest in aviation is all about.

If you were in the USA, and came around asking questions about how to do something, people might have taken you more serious.

But to come online and inform Americans that they will do what you ask when you want them to takes it a little far.

Sorry you don't like the answers you get online. Next time try coming to the USA and then meet people face to face.

Americans are a little suspicious of people not from the USA that come online and ask to use their airplane. It is rude of you to demand people to answer your question when you want them to without giving us a LOT of information about your self. In other words, we need a lot more information about you.

My wife is not from America, and it did not happen over night.

As it is, some people here on this forum tried to be friendly with you, and you ignored them.

As stated before, most foreigners come to the USA and buy flight hours in block times, or go to a flight school and then return to their home. What you ask is not normal in the US. If you cannot accept that and think we are wasting your time then that is too bad.

What country are you from?
What is your interest in coming to America?
What is your interest in flying?
How old are you?
Have you ever been or are you now a member of a military service?

O.k. let's play guess the troll.

You got one thing right, I'm a tax flyer alright.

So you want hours in a 180 towards what, flying an airbus into a building? Or more like, you want to come to America and fly big planes and big breasted American foxes! ..:lol:

Not nearly as much as it reeks of arrogant white ****oles.

Aw, c'mon. The guy ( EdFred) was transparent from post two. Besides, nothing$ free.

Hey ramp, hook me up with some bi Jihad girls and I'll consider it.

No gas, no grass, no ass? NO FREE RIDE! :nono:

Now there is an oxymoron.

Bi jihad girls...

I have to admit I WOULD click that link if I saw it!

IP traces to UK.

hey Ramp, I'll settle for one them girls that likes it in her ISIS. :yesnod:

Okay I'm going to say it:

Ramp, we are not interested in financing your flying education. No offense but you need to go elsewhere for your freebies.

You'd be amazed what this board offers for the asking, especially when it's an excuse to fly.

Please, you've got a kid from India trying to build flight time for a career but doesn't have $150k to spend.

Wait!

Indians are indeed Muslims, aren't they?

Some, you have Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, Sikhs, and a smattering of Jews. I'm sure a couple other ancient religions like Zoroastrianism are represented as well.

It was a joke, Henning. Meant to imply that some here truly believe that if it ain't white and amerikun...or more accurately...white and Texan...then it's automatically suspicious...

:ohsnap:

Oh, o.k. the white Texan guy is a stereotyping racist ...

I forgot that in this PC drug fueled homosexual tribe I'm from, your legitimacy is not to be questioned OP.

As a matter of fact, I owe you an apology for us being such nasty Americans all around for decades, and I bow down to you like our president does to other leaders. Kill me if you want to. Kill us all. I would if I were you. If you don't, our leaders will kill you eventually if you don't agree with our bankers.

Many of you are assuming a lot about me. I'm not a Muslim. I have a love of the land is just wanting to get some time on the fly with the others. I am looking to get a tourist visa, and fly only no work nor study, so this command is allowed. I think you Americans owe it to someone like me. If you want to do the right thing that you volunteer your time. I am very sad the way they were rude to me.
