image.jpeg Doing a trip this week IND-YYZ-PIT-ATL-BTR-CLT-IND and left YYZ this morning. Pilot said it was the largest deice facility of its kind. Interesting ops.

I thought the green slime was cool (that's really the only reason for my post, it was a good excuse to post this pic).

I've been traveling in snow since Sunday eve. Ready for summer.

Livin' the dream, are we? :D

Don't feel too bad. In the frozen white wasteland up north one expects these things. Evening of Jan 9th I transited through IAH flying United. We had to visit the de-ice pad on the way out. I didn't even know Houston had a de-ice pad...:eek:

(And no, they did NOT use oil fired heaters, contrary to popular legend ;))

Yup, the wood fired heaters make the white smoke ya see at IAH.
