This came up recently, but I don't recall the thread - private pilots getting paid by youtube for flying videos...
6:30 "They [FAA] get a lot of calls about me"
6:55 "most of them are so outrageous that we [FAA] don't even bother following up"
7:40 and on... monetization "basically they had their aviation attorneys (FAA] look into it and he [FSDO guy} said there's no issue" [w.r.t part 103]
9:40 what he got busted for (apparently without penalty): Towing a banner AC 103-7
