For youth who will be ages 16-21 this year, EAA Chapter 105 is going to awarding five youth flight training scholarships in the amount of $1500 each. Deadline for applications is April 26, 2014 and applicants selected for an interview will be required to meet in person in the Hillsboro, Oregon area with the selection team. From the group of candidates interviewed, the selection team will choose the five recipients.
If you know a young pilot or prospective pilot who lives in the area, can participate in-person for an interview if selected, and whom you think would benefit from one of these scholarships, feel free to pass this info and the above link on the them.
