Let me see if I understand this. We supply the work, (Photography), assign all rights. You make all the profit, AND you will let us buy our own work back for wholesale???
You may want to think of it this way.
If someone is not a professional photographer, chances are they're photo is used for personal use only.
The photograph is created into a large freehand painting. If commissioned, it would cost $1,095.00!
Wholesale pricing means: I make absolutely zero profit on the print.
The cost to print a "one-off" with no guarantee of a return is huge.
The art world is highly competitive. To be asked by a talented artist, to have a personal image transformed into a painting that takes 30 hrs + to create, doesn't come along every day.
Art print profit margins, are extremely low.
To purchase a 24" x 30" print at retail is $329.00
Divide by 30 hours = $10.97 /hr. (affordable for most incomes)
At wholesale... it may be considered a bargain for some.
