You gotta love autumn!

No bugs! Well, at least they have been knocked down a bunch. Fall flying is great. Thick air, no bugs, cool temps. Now, if we just had more daylight. :rolleyes:

Winter as well. I seem to remember a point in time last year where the surface air temp for Florida in the morning was 30F, and in Portland, Maine was 45F. Go Figure!
 
I love this time of year. Air stays nice and smooth all day and cool enough to fly the backcountry even in the afternoon. Here is Garden Valley, ID from the Super Cub.
