Yelling clear and starting up..

I always (tm) look, yell clear, wait, look again, and hit the starter. And I do all of that with the canopy open.

At least that's what I think I do. It is easy to become complacent after 20 years of flying with no scary incidents involving near misses between my prop and a bystander...
