Uhhh... The UP is Michigan, even though it's attached to Wisconsin.

Of course, it's pretty darn hard to tell the difference between northern Wisconsin and da UP, eh? I hear da jokes about Yoopers but they ain't always that funny...

Thanks for the clarification. When I met Josephine and asked about her home area she said, "Wisconsin -- Upper Peninsular". Duh! What do I know? But now I have a better understanding of "Yoopers".
