Yak catches fire at KAGC on the way to Osh.

The pilot was a friend of a friend. My friend called to ask what could cause the fire. This is an odd one. The plane landed no distress calls and apparently it was the tower who told the pilot there was smoke coming from the plane. The pilot was burned but exited the aircraft on his own. The only thing I can think of is Electrical. Sadly the pilot succumbed to his injuries and died today week after the incident.
