Looks like theyve got a trigger like the Landing Officers do. They see something they dont like they pull it and everybody "knocks it off".

My guess would be either some form of ground operator and/or they hold a safety switch to kill the engine if something unexpected happens.

We've been told this plane has already been "retired" and is being prepped for a museum. I'd be curious if anyone knows different?

They control the movement of the Drone on the deck. They are the "Yellow Shirts" for the Drone. The dingus in the hand is the controller unit.

All landings caught the three wire and it will be a hoot when the X-47 wins Top Hook.

From what I understand they targeted the 2 and 3 wire on different passes and caught the target wire.
