WTB: Air band transceiver

Good afternoon,
I am looking for a good old used radio for my son to listen to the frequency from the ground.
I looked on eBay but everything is well over $100 and I am looking to make this a small give for christmas since he already has a pretty long list

Any ideas or websites would be really appreciated.

Or even http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=321605537903&alt=web should work, though have to read the manual to limit it's scanned channels to just the ones you want.

I assume transceiver might be what you were searching, which should result in transmit/receive radios. But do you really want your son to be able to transmit?

I was able to pick up an airband scanner on ebay for $10, in my case it just stays stuck on 122.9 feeding the house audio system.
