As I clean up the fuselage of my Citabria I was considering using POR-15 . Has anyone used it . What other products would you recommend other than POR ?

It is a product that has been around for years . Mostly marketed to the auto restoration world . The POR-15 stands for Paint Over Rust its a brush on paint . I am not suggesting I plan on painting over rust but it claims to stop rust and give a good hard finish . I have never used it but have seen it advertised for years .

If it's a steel part and not exposed to UV (Sunlight) yes. Really hard pressed to think of any aviation part that would benefit from it. Think you mean POR-15 BTW.

Yes the 7eca is a steel tube fabric covered aircraft .I am trying to find out if any one has used it and if its claims have proven to hold true . It is not inexpensive so from that stand point it must be for aircraft ?

I used it extensively on a car undercarriage, worked great. Nasty stuff to work with, sticks to everything. Use gloves.
