I wish more women would face their fears like these two. The world would be a better place! :yes:

On Nov. 17, Hoffman and Gallegos, along with five other brave women, plan to jump from an airplane near Lake Elsinore, Calif., wearing nothing but parachutes and their lingerie. The jump is part of Esme & Eve's "Be Bold. Take the Leap" initiative, in which they urge women "to face their fears, take a risk and push against whatever is holding them back from carrying out their dreams."

Oh please. Lingerie jumps are common among female skydivers. Taking a tandem ride in lingerie is not worthy of note, pathetic really. And bare skin looks terrible in freefall, even toned bodies ripple like they are fat.

Which picture do you want Jesse? The one where the breeze slowly rips off their lingerie in the mother of all wardrobe malfunctions or the one where they are knocked unconscious after being slapped silly by flapping body parts?

Just hang around in the landing area. By the time they land, all of the skin rippling will be over. Hopefully.
 
Lots of more interesting video floating around of nude skydives. That's been going on since the 70s. And to me, a tandem ride doesn't qualify as a "skydive".
 
I won't post it (you wouldn't want to see it anyway) but there is a video floating around somewhere with a naked MAN in freefall. His unit was flopping violently up and down.
 
Looked painful to me. I wouldn't want my phugoid to oscillate like that.
 
Is thread is full of weekend warrior types who've never dealt with a real oscillating phugoid. My experience with oscillating phugoids has been terribly misconstrued. I'm out.

I wouldn't even know how to use the word in a sentence. Let's try it:
