Wings & Wheels, Saturday, January 19, 2008 - Cessna Day!

Well, the time has come to look forward to some upcoming Wings & Wheels events at The 1940 Air Terminal Museum at William P. Hobby Airport, starting with Cessna Day on January 19! We will welcome Cessnas of all kinds on this day (anybody know someone with a Citation that they want to put on display in return for a free lunch?), and it will feature the beautiful 1947 Cessna 140 that the museum will be giving to one lucky raffle ticket holder later in the year. If you haven't purchased a ticket yet and are interested in doing so, you can contact me or anyone at the museum. The event runs from 10:00am until 5:00pm and admission is $10/adults and $5/children, and provides access to the museum displays, aircraft and vehicle static displays, and lunch. There is a 50% discount to anyone who arrives by Cessna. For more information, contact PJ Gustafson at pj@wingsandwheels.org.

Thread bump - this is happening this Saturday, January 19, 2008... not on January 15, as was posted in the title of this thread. I guess the mods didn't like me having separate threads for each separate event that had posted, so they combined them all into this thread, so be prepared to see this thread bumped again for the February and March events. But, I digress...

This Saturday is Cessna Day at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum, so please come one, come all (we'll let some other types on the ramp too). As an added bonus, Ric will have his 310 there, so anyone who comes will be able to check that out. 10:00am - 5:00pm, so come any time!

Thread bump... this Saturday is Wings & Wheels - Business Aviation Day at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum. Anyone who flies in will get free admission and a receipt for an "in-kind" donation to the museum for the costs that they've incurred. Hope to see some POA'ers there!
