Williams Selyem 2004 Pinot Noir, Bucher Vineyard is the BOMB!

Williams & Selyem Winery, Healdsburg, CA http://www.williamsselyem.com

Williams Selyem has been making great Pinot for a while. I haven't bought into the craze because of the "Sideways" effect - an already (expensive, IMO) market turned doubly so. Good for Pinot, bad for me!

I had a bottle of the 2003 Leoville Barton on Saturday. Still very young, but HOLY CRAP it is better than 03 Margaux or Lafite.

Cheers,

-Andrew

I have not tried a Pinot Noir, I prefer Merlots and Cabernets myself.

I love a good Pinot. I'll have to give it a try. My wife and I have been on the "one glass a night" plan for about the last two weeks. :)
