Windy!!

[Graueradler]

Glad I was driving and not flying in the Denver area yesterday. Lots of locactions reporting 50+ wind gusts with some over 60

Yeah ... oh joy... I get to untangle and refasten all our Christmas lights, after I chase down all the bulbs that were broken from the winds yesterday. I HATE climbing ladders and scooting along the edge of the roof, but it scared me worse watching my 13 year old son doing it so up I went.

We had 58 mph gusts at our house yesterday, but not nearly as bad as the 90+mph wind we had a couple of weeks ago. Today is turning out quite nice, however... way too warm for Christmas, with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Merry Christmas!

I remember the winds out there (learned at 2V2). Thought the house was going to blow away. Yikes!

See that high, that's the cause of the winds. Every time. Depending on what the high to the north (ID/MT border) does you'll either have weakening winds in CAVU or sustained winds in sunny conditions. Good for max 3 days.
