Has anyone met or ever taken a lesson from Kershner in TN? When I was teaching I used all of his books and just really thought he hung the moon. Would love to take a lesson from him someday.

I'm not sure that he instructs anymore. Several years ago he had cancer and stopped flying. Don't know if he's back in the saddle or not. I have talked with him on the phone many times ... a real class act and by all accounts one of the finest natural pilots ever.
 
I would have loved to take a BFR or gone through his acro school. Any idea how many years young he is now?
