Why you should always preflight

doesn't do much good to preflight that when the ramp worker that is desparate to get out of town and climbs in right before you start to taxi.
 
They are saying likely cause was frostbite? My guess is that lack of oxygen kicked in first. . .
 
Sad thing is that finding dead bodies in the gear bays is not an uncommon occurence. There was one within the past couple years flying into New York from Africa where the deceased landing in someone's yard on Long Island after the flight crew selected gear down.

What makes this one interesting is that the plane departed NY for Japan......Is NY getting that bad?

Makes me wonder if it may have been a ramp worker who decided to take a nap in a bad place?
