In your next life you better own an oil company.

I was just sharing what I thought was a nice photo of a beautiful airplane. Sheesh.

It is a nice photo, and thanks for sharing.

OBTW I learned to start large radials, you could too.

Gorgeous plane, great pix.

I would be very wary if I had to fly its original intended mission. Something to think about.

Yep, 2800s aren't particularly hard to start, some of em even have an electric prime.

I think I would like a very good LSO for that.

That and the whole "getting shot at" thing.

Getting shot at on a patrol is not assured, having to land onboard is (unless it was a land based Marines plane). In a study done during Viet Nam, pulse and respiration were higher among Phantom drivers during night traps than during actual in flight combat being shot at.

Warbird poker, gotta love it!
Looks like a great day in Bridgeport. My shots of Panchito and several other B25's are all from Thunder Over Michigan 2002, and were on film unfortunately for me. I've not converted them to digital (I really should!) and my scanner is broken. So, I'll have to stick with this B-25 and a quartet of B-17's B)

Very nice pictures.. Looks like that was a great airshow.
I took a ride on the nine o nine when they were at Farmingdale, NY a few years ago. That was a great flight.

Take care,

Q: What's better than listening to a Corsair taxi by?

A: Listening to two rumble by for a formation takeoff.

Pushing 4 throttles and watching the houses get little.
