iAM in AK!
Ok, this is a new aircraft for me... We had a twin come in to KCXO a few weeks ago that suffered a nose gear collapse on landing, essentially ruining the 3 bladed props, and doing unknown damage to the engines. (they have not been torn down yet)
At first, I thought it was an APACHE. But the cabin was too large. I could not figure it out. I finally went right up to the aircraft to look over the damage and to determine what type of aircraft it was... Even our mechanics were stumped!
Who has ever heard of a B206...? It is a BEAGLE BASSETT! SN#28 http://www.ukskies.co.uk/index.htm?http://www.ukskies.co.uk/B/pages/Beagle%20Aircraft%20-%20B206%20Basset.htm
It has a full length divan running up one side of the cabin, a rearward facing seat, and a full width bench seat in the back, and two crew seats up front. HUGE windows, and incredible amounts of head and shoulder room.
It was so very unusual, that I thought I'd ask you all if you are familiar with this a/c.
