No, airline travel doesn't count! lol

According to Garmin Pilot, we flew 2,273 miles, round trip, from the Texas Gulf Coast and back. With taxi times (3 miles, in OSH alone!), we racked up 14.2 hours, all VFR.

How'd you do?

At the homebuilders dinner the award went to a guy that flew from Eureka, CA in an RV-7. 1571 miles each way.

That's a trek! And with big rocks on the way, too.

One of our gang often flies his Arrow to OSH from the Sacramento area, so he routinely beats our numbers. This year he opted for Southwest, though...

We had three planes from central Mexico. The Maule and the Baron went via Vale, CO for a round trip of 3579. The Cub went direct with a round trip of 3066.

Oh, I thought it was "the fartiest"....sorry. Figured with that Old Style beer and brats y'all were pretty 'gassy'. :p

Osh to Alliance (KAFW) 4.9 hours

I'm in the running for shortest distance. 80nm as the crow flies, but the Fisk arrival extends it a bit. Made it nonstop tho...
