Who are rated seaplane pilots on POA? 'fess up.

I managed to get my Multi-engine Sea ATP in 1992 in a Widgeon, but didn’t get my single-engine sea until 2019. Well worth the wait to get it from Darlene Rudisill in Alaska at Alaska Float Training.

I got my Seaplane rating a couple of years ago at Jack Brown’s and it was the most fun flying I have had in a long time! I am due to go back and get some more time on floats! I may try that place on Lake Dora.

I wanted to get a seaplane rating, but I was told I can't fly in my speedos...

Multi-Sea ATP in a Widgeon 31 years ago and single engine sea from Darlene at Alaska Float Training a few years ago which was a blast.

30 hours Multi and maybe 6 single (super cub).
Here's my small world connection, one of the first planes I ever got to lay hands on as an A&P student was probably your family Widgeon 25 years ago. I believe your dad was friends with one of my instructors at East Coast Aero Tech, and arranged to get it annualed with us students helping. Very cool that it wasn't a random Cessna or Piper. Still not Sea rated myself, but on my short list.

Yup, Coast Guard colors, and with the original Ranger 440s. In fact, my first experience with the rope trick to fix a sticky valve was on one of those Rangers! Very cool plane and experience as a budding mechanic.

Yep! Then that was the one!
