If having to choose between the following "true" 4-place single engine piston A/C, which would you choose and why?

Pipistrel Panthera-

Flight-Design C4-

Technam P-2010-

Novaer TXC-
(Pretty sure the Novaer TXC is an all-new 4-place)

If there are any others that are all-new from the ground-up, that is not an experimental, please advise.

Thank-you:)

None. I'd buy a Comanche that was for sale in the classified section.

never heard of any of them. And I'll wager that in another 30 years a new generation of pilots will still be debating S-35 vs comanche 250 and your list will be as obscure as it is now.

but if you really have to have a new plane I'd say that SR22 and RV-10 are about the only choices that are present in enough numbers that I'd consider one

Panthera. And I'll wager in 30 years people will be wondering why anyone ever bought an SR22 when a Panthera was available.

Ask me in a couple years after the bugs have been worked out and they've been flying around some, and then I'll tell you.

I agree N35, as Pipistrel has already made quite a name for themselves with their NASA achievements and LSA A/C.

I find the Panther a to be one of the most sleek/sporty looking low-wing A/C on the market.

I really think that they should consider offering a fixed-gear model, for the same reason Cirrus has done; to make obtaining insurance for low time Pilots a lot more easier and/or possible.

I'm sure that Pipistrel will too offer a Diesel powerplant as well, :(which certainly will not hurt.

The Panthera has been generating a lot of attention, with a design like that, how could they not be? Not to mention the functionality/ergonomics of the A/C as well. I think if they can offer a fixed-gear version with competitive pricing, like the C4, they should do very well.

Sure would be nice if they offered side-sticks as an option instead of only center-sticks, which is one of the features I like about the Experimental RV-10.

Can't RG gear be bolted down to inactivate and temporarily meet insurance requirements?
