Which MSFS X version to buy?

I told my wife that I wanted MSFS X for my birthday but dont' know what version to ask for MSFS X standard is about $36.00 from Amazon.
MSFS X Deluxe version is about $58.00

What does everyone here have?

Is the delux version worth it if you are a IR Pilot or should I just save the $20 and stick with the Standard.

Get the deluxe version - more airplanes, and support for the third-party products you may want.

You should also download service pack 1 from Microsoft. You need a recent and fast computer to run FSX well.

Deluxe version has G1000, standard does not.

Deluxe has some ATC features that standard does not as well ( i think).

ASUS P5W DH motherboard
2 GByte RAM
8800 GTS video card

I fire up MSFS X, set realism sliders all the way to the right, and it doesn't even breath hard. It would have cratered the 1 GHz PIII system that this sucker replaced.
