Line Up and Wait
I fly with a cannula (and the Precise Oxygen demand reg) up to FL180 (and have been higher ) and am looking to move over to a mask for the top end of this altitude range.
Which is the best quality / most comfortable mask on the market, with a built-in mike that is compatible with the aircraft-powered Bose-X connection?
I don't like the cheap clear silicone masks; the kind one carries for regulatory reasons. They do use a vast amount of gas, too. And there is no mike.
Mountain High have their "Alps" mask

with the PA100B bose-x cable adaptor which deals with the problem of connecting the mike into the cable, disabling the headset mike when the mask is being used.
I have asked MH if their masks can be used with the Precise Oxygen demand regs - but obviously they do a constant flow version anyway. The Precise Oxygen website seems to have been "redesigned" ....... but they probably do masks with their Cirrus system.
