When you hear the following, what causes you to feel the greatest sense of urgency? (pardon crude attempt at typing out the acronym)

  1. "I need you to do that as soon as possible"
  2. "I need you to do that a-sap"
  3. "I need you to do that a-ess-a-pee"

For me, in descending order: 2, 3, 1

I need to take-a-pee

Please and thank you are a better way to get me to do something. I just laugh at people when they give me those options, but if I had to choose I would choose 1.

Get your A## in here right f#($*ing now! I always hate when that happens.

Probably #1.

I got in trouble a long time ago for teaching my kids the wrong word for a particular situation.

Kid, "I want a cookie!"
Mom, "What's the magic word?"
Kid, "Now!"
Me, "HAHAHA........oh"

"How come this isn't done yet?"
always gets me moving.

Your General, Sales, and Service managers must be super motivated! :D :D

I think the delivery is far more important than which way you choose to say it.

None of the above.

"Just got a panic call from XXX. I know you've got a lot on your plate right now that's important, but can you move this to the top of your priority list? I know everything else will be delayed and I'll take the blame".

There's the winner right there.
