Some here may remember seeing this fantastic aircraft at Oshkosh. I was lucky enough to share the pattern with it in Racine, WI during its first flights, while I was doing circuits in a rental Cherokee 140, back in the mid-'90s. It was one of those "What the heck is THAT thing?" moments that I'll never forget.
Its destiny is apparently to hang from the ceiling of a new S.C. Johnson building in Racine, WI, in honor of the late Sam Johnson -- the man who commissioned its construction.

I'm glad it's being preserved, but sad to see that it'll probably never fly again...
