Where Does "Ed Force One" Park?

I have tickets to see Iron Maiden in St. Paul, MN, this summer. Do you think they'll park their 747 at the FBO at KMSP (I think the runway at KSTP is a bit short for a loaded 747) or use a gate at one of the passenger terminals? I would probably fly into KSTP but if there's any chance I can park next to Ed Force One at the expensive FBO at KMSP I wouldn't be able to resist.

P.S. If anyone asks why I don't dream bigger for my future, it's because there's already a rock star who has a 747 type rating and a Fokker triplane.

Not sure the Signature ramp would have the room for this. It often looks a bit crowded. Probably somewhere back in at the infield freight terminal.

Most airports will have designated a ramp that larger transient aircraft can use when they won't fit at an FBO so doubt they would use the passenger terminal...a LOT of sports teams travel via large charters.

The cargo ramp makes sense. When I saw AC/DC a few years back, they had ~50 semi trucks backed up to the venue for their stage production and gear. Iron Maiden stuffs all theirs into the jet, so I'd imagine they have a lot more work to unload cargo than people.

I would think the ramp at most general aviation FBOs would not hold the weight of a 747 for parking.

Have they announced that they're flying a B-747 again? I followed them on their last world tour and they flew into major airports, already capable of handling the airplane.

For reference, in 2016 they were flying TF-AAK, an Air Atlanta Icelandic Boeing 747-428. Delivered to Air France as F-GITH in March 2003. Withdrawn from use and went into storage at Lourdes in Oct 2015 then sold to Air Atlanta Icelandic in Nov 2015 and re-reg'd as TF-AAK. Full D-check and paint job at Sharjah UAE. Arrived Cardiff 2/17/16 and from there a world tour!

Looks like TF-AAK is back in regular service with Air Atlanta Icelandic, so if they're doing another aviation world tour they're gonna have to lease another airplane...

BTW, a nice trivia item is that they used a map on social media, showing where the airplane was. Their icon was an airplane, of course. However when they were in Chili there was a towing incident and the tow cart hit the nacelle for engine #2, tearing it up. They had to take a tour bus to get to the next few South American concerts while Air Atlanta Icelandic flew in a new engine with nacelle...and the map icon changed to a bus...

Yes, I'm a fan.
