A friend is on the board of a farm animal sanctuary/rescue organization in upstate NY. They need to bring a piglet from Wisconsin to NY. Does any animal rescue organization fly piglets?

Yes, Pilots-n-Paws is worth using to do this flight.

While my passengers of the furry kind have all been feline or canine, if your porcine will fit into a standard cat/dog carrier, and be a well behaved passenger, then you might find some pilots to bring Babe to New York.

And the "Flying pigs" angle might make for some good press for the rescue organization.

Be sure to keep the fresh air vents open. Pig farts stink.

How do I know? Spent my youth on a farm.

I thought this thread was about the Beech Sierra.

I'm interested in getting that pig. I'll make sure he stays warm...right around 225 degrees. Hope he likes the smell of hickory smoke.

When pigs fly . . .

Been there, done that, got the t shirt. :goofy:

Prefer pig portions flying in my belly, 7500 msl and above.
