Seems like almost every aopa video these days has some nudge for seaplanes and getting your seaplane rating.

The SPA probably provides them a lot of editorial material that they don't have to exploit their other contributors for.

Only real pilots have Seaplane ratings.

:p

Hope to get mine this week at Jack Brown's

Cheers

I do like the idea...and have for many years considered doing it if I can ever get current again.... & I can see why they or anyone might be occasionally suggesting it as a way for pilots to do something new and different....but lately it's just coming off to me like some sneaky hidden agenda without every coming out saying they have a formal campaign.

good luck and have fun x3 Skier! I hope to see a report here about how it goes! Before this pandemic hit, I was planning to get recurrent and proficient this year locally, then I had a very loose idea about maybe doing a little mini vacation next year down to Jack Brown's or someplace to do it.... now I don't know...

Increased pilot skills? People need to quit the agenda stuff...
