Remember when I posted pictures of the engine stand I made?

I worked with a former machine maintainer. When asked if he could weld his reply was classic: “I can hold things together until the welder gets there.”

The tailpipe hangar is out of its rubber suspender. Looks like it's been that way a long time.

Someone has drilled a drain hole in the muffler. That guarantees early rust-out in non-stainless mufflers.

Yeah I saw that. Good news is that muffler wouldn't be on there long anyway

Think it said it was a manual pickup. If that's a volunteer department, I'd bet a lot of people drove that truck without first knowing how to drive a manual....unless it's in farm country and then I retract the statement. Still, manual transmissions get beat up by non-owners.

A friend of mine paid a similar amount of money for that body style. It had a lot more miles, but was probably cleaner overall.

Pretty disappointing some doofus took a razor blade to the decals on something they’re obviously trying to get a premium for. The holes from that removed equipment are really going to hurt the value.

Id pass and be happy with a non-fire one with more miles.
